2010 Alice in Wonderland...i can't wait.

I can not wait until 2010...not only will i be legal...all of 21 by then buuuut...ALICE IN WONDERLAND by Tim Burton is going to come out in March of 2010...i absolutely love the book the series....it's my thing...my cousin/friend/other sister/whatever....is Tinkerbell....but i love Alice in Wonderland i'm absolutely captivated by it.....so according to movie star style Johnny Depp *sigh* is going to be playing the Mad Hatter, i can't wait to see how that turns out. He is definitly the perfect choice for Mad Hatter, he always plays such unique rolls in films. As for Alice unknown Mia Wasikowska. She's definitly very pretty, a nice choice for alice.

Tim burton his films always have a slightly dark feel to them. Not the usual fairy tale, take Corpse Bride for example. I just really like Tim Burtons films, his style is unique and it's not the norm. He seems to be, to me in the very least, almost a modern day Edgar Allen Poe. But without the suicidal tendancies, uhh that i know of. I fell in love with the way he directs his movies and has the lightings. He definitly knows what he is doing, i think that this is going to be another wonderful attempt at capturing the whole Alice leaving her demension and going off all alone by herself.

If you think about it a little girl 12 years old maybe a bit older, somehow falls down a rabbit hole, she hits her head wakes up and is all alone. She can't find a way out. She's thirsty drinks a bottle and somehow she shrinks. Do read the original book, it is not quite the same as the disney cartoon. I feel that Alice is a bit of a darker fairy tale, but in the end i believe it has a good ending a bad dream if anything. But at this point alice must be confused, she might even have trouble telling the difference between reality and wonderland....if that makes sense. So that is why i think Tim Burton will have done a wonderful job on Alice.

"movie stars: Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Michael Sheen plays the White Rabbit, Alan Rickman – Caterpillar, Christopher Lee – Jabberwock, Stephen Fry – Cheshire Cat and Crispin Glover stars as The Knave of Hearts."( First Look at Alice in Wonder Land teaser trailer.Par.3)
